  1. I never thought of them as being wary, probably just scared of dodgy northerners
  2. Nice one Adey. Hope your well Steve
  3. Managed to photograph two out of the three Mistle thrushes that where eating the berries on my rowan tree in the back garden. These must be one of the most wary birds that drop in to the garden the slightest thing and they fly off Steve
  4. A anthem in every sense of the word . Both sides Simply stunning Steve
  5. Stunning Martyn, stunning Steve
  6. Good luck Steve
  7. Hilton Hotel. Edinburgh has to be the poshest place I've ever been to a soul night with bar prices to match. Pint of magners cider and a glass of coke was about £10 Chorley town hall used to be smart when roger banks used to run it Bolton town hall must have the grandest entrance with that big sweeping double staircase Steve
  8. Watching Autumn watch/ unsprung last night reminded me of this Millipede picture taken in my back garden Steve
  9. Jim. Those links are to demo copies. Don't think I've seen a demo LP of those before only the issue Steve
  10. Poppies LP. Seems very cheap to me. Spellbound is a fabulous track Steve
  11. It was booted as far as I,m aware on a yellow 4 brothers but without the licensed to atco distribution on the label Steve
  12. Had the pleasure of seeing Betty Boo sing for the first time live.say it isn't so at Northampton a few years ago when she appeared with Pat and Diane lewis to make up the Adorables. Margaret Mandolph. Something beautiful. Planetary. What a tune. Love it Thanks Pete Steve
  13. Forgot to add that I seen a southern hawker dragonfly today along with about four smaller brown dragonflies. Is this Unusual for time of year or is it because there's been no frosts to kill them off ? Steve

Ed. That was £2.86 mate decimal point was in the wrong place. Because your a mate I will round it up to £3.00 and that's my final offer. Steve
  15. Ade. Firstly you must be lost down here in this thread. You turned left at all about the soul instead of right. The magpies will be looking for spider's, that's the normal thing they're doing when you see them doing that. No chicks this time of year. Not normally. Steve
  16. Silver Birch with what I believe is Birch polypore fungi Steve
  17. That's the one Russell. Amazing pictures indeed. Must be a slightly different version online regarding where the picture's are shown compared to the paper edition. Steve
  18. No sorry Russell, I'm on my Kindle at the moment Steve
  19. Sorry Russell. I missed it just read through it now. I.m sitting on the fence on this. To me there's a better photograph in today's daily mail supplement that shows a water vole sticking it's head out of a drain pipe seeming to look at its own reflection. It's stunning in my opinion Steve
  20. Russell. I'm not sure. It is such a emotive topic in the two photography magazines that I get monthly. One side says anyone can move taking a picture and most people normally do, that's why there's so many blurred pictures. But to produce something like that is it luck or skill. My self I'm not sure. I may still have a photograph that I took in a wood to get a similar effect with the tree's distinctive but blurred. Steve Steve
  21. Simon. I remember I was going to pay £80 in 1978 for Bobby Paris. I walked away. which as a apprentice fitter was more than a months wages at the time, so I guess I had set a limit subconsciously even then. Many years later it had risen to £300 then it went to whatever I could afford / justify Steve
  22. Sunset photograph taken minutes ago from my back garden Steve
  23. Bazza. Paid £110 for a original quite a few years back. Used to play it out at places like Winsford, Middleton etc to always a great reaction. It's a hard record to find. Still think it's a great tune Steve
  24. Ade. I think it should be nearer a third of the book price. But as always what do I know. Steve
