  5. Whoops sorry, re posted.....Rob
  6. That's exactly what I hear about all the djs who do the circuit and not just play the big venues....all great chaps/ladies who won't EVER make a fortune from what they do....dedicated to the music they love, and basically get paid pro rata to the venue they play at....so generally never a fortune...guys/ladies I thank you because your the guys who give up your time for very little. Thank you...Rob
  7. Wow...some great records played....can't say I knew them all but will have a google of those I don't know....Johnny truit is sublime....just picked this out with many beauties played out...good work to all involved..thank you..Rob
  8. Great read thank you.....I always thought it was Chris King who ran/promoted Hinckley do's in the 80's...you learn something new every day....kind regards..Rob
  9. Bloomin heck...didn't realise it's got 22 bids!....if I put that up for auction it would achieve about £15! I agree 'here we go again'.....its barmy at the minute, but I I do strangely enjoy reading about the madness!...thank you for posting....Rob
  10. Is this " I can't get over losing your love" mark lad.....would never question your superior knowledge to mine, just wondering matey....Rob
  11. not surprised....neckender has some fabulous records....have to say I've never seen an issue...and thought there wasn't one!....love to see a scan of one...great stuff..thank you, kind regards...Rob
  12. Thank you for posting.....it's mad you have got a soul scene started in Malta!.....good luck to you all, and I hope it prospers with a good group of regulars making friends and being part of the little club that's northern soul.....I know it's a bit commercial at the minute, but these folks will pass through and some may get into it, who knows?.....anyway good luck!...kind regards...Rob
  13. Bloomin eck!.......if you can't find something you like in that list, I suggest you give up listening to soul music. Nice mixture that.........Rob
  14. Looking forward to seeing what you post after more rummageing.....very interesting.....thank you....Rob
  15. Even if there not for sale. if someone offers you an AMAZING price you would sell. If not why show off...never seen /heard of this before......I'm not about every week like you guys, but find this a little strange......funny though to me, bless em...why would you?
  16. suppose it depends what glue is on it....wood glue could probably be taken off with soapy water or the wood glue method would pull it out, as suggested by Rich......if it's more sinister super glue, evo stick type stuff your gonna need something a lot stronger to take it off...an acetone type stuff perhaps?....could be detrimental to your vinyl though....good luck and if successful, will be interested to know the result......kind regards.....Rob
  17. would you get max £ from auctioning it through mr manship, he takes 20% but the skys the limit as Jack Montgomery shown in the last week or so......take offers on here for a week or so, you can decide then if it's reached its potential giving updates on offers so far etc. Or stick it set sale with very nearest offer.....worlds your oyster!.......I offer 2 specimen bonsai trees!.....good luck matey, a fantastic record........kind regards......Rob p.s I hope I've got this right and you are selling, not looking to buy.
  18. I concur with that, a fine album and a good choice imo......Rob
  19. ha-ha......I've stopped starting from seeds and I'm 44, worried I won't see them mature.....god bless the old Dad....(sorry if off topic)...Rob
  20. If anyone's interested I could trade a couple of bonsai trees for a servicemen single!.....god I've got some strange interests/passions!!.....Rob
  21. thank you chalky.....the four voices, near as damn it 2k on jm's, another fantastic double sider.....I fancy this would go close to that price on his auction (just as good imo), and think most people selling privately, soul do's etc would want a grand minimum cash. I'm no expert and listen to you guys who know far more than me........Rob
  22. ha-ha! Never thought of it like that...I sell, tell people, then they tell me I'd of never of sold that!....my friends know what I own...please tell me prior to any of my sales!!....to be fair they get sold on to finance other records, and my soul buddy's are top people!....Rob
  23. I'd of had that!.....I'm also garbage at selling, guaranteed after two weeks of off loading my records they go massive every where!..Rob
  24. as prices go at the minute, £1200 for this record is a bargain, fantastic record!......Rob
  25. I'm afraid it's a no from me.....don't you just love people....good spot though. Made me chuckle.......Rob
