In the immortal words of Fred Pontin....."Book early". You might try telling the Keir Hardie Hall management it's "your venue". They obviously didn't realise.

Seems out of order for what is a private party. Or am I missing something? Surprised the club owner didn't tell the promoter to do one, although I imagine this guy threatened to throw his toys out of the pram and take his business elsewhere. How did the promoter find out?
  4. My two lads used to collect it when it first came out and I'm sure they've got some of it stowed away somewhere. I'll ask them if they want to get shot.
  5. It's up there with Grease.
  6. They tend to be a bunch of knobs in these Superstores, think they are doing you a favour by selling you it. They generally know knack all about what they are selling and are totally f*cked when you ask them a technical question. Prefer to use local specialist shops who are knowledgeable about the products they are selling and have much better after sales service. You can normally get them to price match the big boys, or they'll throw in some extras just to secure a sale. Also, the likes of Richer Sounds are a better option and normally offer a free five year warranty instead of trying to flog you one.

I would genuinely like to see me demonstrate this technique live, given that I'm not a DJ and haven't a scooby what it is.
