  1. You'd be better off sticking to the one thread regarding this question rather than repeating it in another 24 hrs later ... Sorry I have no idea on the song by the way ...
  2. Another musical legend leaves us , no details as it's a breaking item ... https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-us-canada-39318602
  3. Again , that version is sax heavy ...
  4. Hardly lacking the sax though is it ....
  5. A real test pressing will be identical to the genuine demo/issue with regards to the deadwax details/stamps etc as these details are cut/stamped into the metal master itself. A test pressing is just that , a short run of discs used to check/test that the metal stamper is OK before a large pressing run is done so as not to end up with a few thousand unusable records.
  6. Only the 2015 "boot of a boot" was a mash-up with Chapter 5 and Mickey Moonshine , though quite why anyone would want to re-boot Ch5 and MM is beyond me ...
  7. Taking things to a new level here , with regards to the almost certainly libellous description on these 30+ discs ... https://www.ebay.com/sch/m.html?item=112328503579&ul_noapp=true&_ssn=nataliee-2012&_sop=16
  8. I would say this is a sure-fire way of destroying an acetate , the bond between the lacquer and the metal is not strong enough to withstand the use of PVA which will bond too strongly to the lacquer more than likely removing the thin layer along with the dirt and mould , especially if there is any microscopic debonding already occuring ... which in the case of the discs shown is very likely. Weak soap solution using cold water ( warm water will soften the lacquer ) and a very gentle touch is the way to go.

Maybe the powers that be could merge the two threads on this , pointless and confusing to be running identically titled/themed threads concurrently ...
  10. .... https://www.discogs.com/Various-Untitled/release/3378938
  11. It's one of the "friends only" set of bootlegs that I.L. put out last year ...
  12. They would all be better posted on the "Comedy Sale of the Day" thread to keep these classics all together ...
  13. How's this for starters , from the horse's mouth ...
  14. In retrospect it was probably Kevin I first heard play it at the Oddfellows just before Stafford , but as it was 30+ years back I'd merely be guessing ...
  15. Always associate the Delco's with Keb and Stafford myself ...
  16. https://www.ebay.com/itm/GEORGE-PEPP-BLOW-BETSY-BLOW-THE-FEELING-IS-REAL-RARE-NORTHERN-SOUL-45-EX-/132102419677?hash=item1ec1eaf4dd:g:1t4AAOSwWxNYpgZ5
  17. Same seller highlighted last week with a Joseph Webster for $9000 that soon got removed , all the pics are those from recent sales too so steer well clear I'd say.
  18. Can find nothing using your directions ... just post a direct link to it please ...
