Heads Up On One Of The Best Ever Crossover Records I've Ever Heard
Absolutely brilliant track! Well done to all involved in bringing this to our attention! And Rouncey make sure you bring it on Thursday night to Majestic Soul - volcano ash or no volcano ash.

100 Club Crisis
There was a Niter in Chelmsford on Saturday night too. Just down the road really so a few who would probably have gone to the 100 Club were there which obviously put a small dent in the numbers. A local niter for local people as the LOG might say. Petrol, train and accomodation costs, not forgetting London beers prices have all contributed in the downturn in attendances too. The proliferation of local events has also drawn the punters away due to the number of DJ spots as well. I think it's worth persevering though Ady so keep up the good work!

David And Ruben/ Majestics
According to Ruben Molina, writer of the "Old Barrio guide to Low Rider music" Eddie Davis had two Majestics groups. One Afro-American "Strange world" Linda 111 and a Mexican-American group "ILHSMIHM" / "The girl of my dreams" (Linda 121 1965 and Rampart 1969) which consisted of the Robles brothers (David, Ruben & Arthur).

Should You Clean Before Selling ?
Trouble is Dave unless you know for sure the record is virtually unplayed, dust and dirt can cover a multitude of sins which may be undetedtable until cleaning is done. So, I say clean 'em and if you have a large enough turnover get one of those VP(?) cleaning machines.
