Soulutions Boootleg
You have done the right thing, but be careful, I reported a bootleg and as I mentioned the word, the robots suspended me for using it. I had to fight to be reinstated, the whole system is useless and they are condoning these sales without possibly meaning to

Soulutions Boootleg
I wonder like you and putting "carver" stops the Ebay robots from spotting it and removing it from sale Discogs can't keep up either boots being listed for sale against the original listings and people buying them I can't even get off or on my high horse to keep up with all this

Jean Shy on Chief & Starville
Found a link here which says Jean was 12 when she joined Chess and sang with Tim https://music.apple.com/us/artist/jean-shy/53483257 It gets a little interesting when I tried to find the writers and spotted the Gamble and Huff publishing for Spring Fever

Jean Shy on Chief & Starville
Dave Rimmer has her down as being in the duo and I have asked my Windy City contacts and one has also confirmed. I wonder if the thread closed as Bob passed ? (RIP) Melvin London owned the publishing Ady on Jean's releases and the duo, but I am going to guess you knew that

Allan Scott LP
Indeed and the LP was recorded when Allan was 21 so 18 and recording on Genuine seems a little young to me, I wait with my usual impatience, have you messaged "El Sabu" who made the connection ?

I think you are (as usual) spot on, I have found out that Yvonne was formed in Chicago in 1958 It is a little odd to me, that an increasing number if the artists (that I am now tracing) seem to be little known though and here are a few more.- Earl Jackson/ Vontastics
It was the publisher appearing on different releases that Mr Pate produced (2 of them below), I meant Rob and thanks for info it may help- Earl Jackson/ Vontastics
Discogs is wrong and should be be corrected I have often visited this release and 6 years ago there was a thread here, where it talks about Mr Pate "not remembering" anything about the release, this is often common where so much work has taken place and occasionally where "things cannot be talked about" 😀 ABC was scattered with releases with shall we say "complications" or "anomalies". I thought a great place was the publishing Pamco and Yvonne, connected to more of Mr Pate's releases, but there are more experienced people who may be able to help, as Discogs has so many different variations of the publishing and googling appears not reveal who owned it ?- Find My Way - Unreleased/unknown Version (Now Identified)

You are correct most do know but our friend is a new member and may not, and for the wonderful info I will post this (can't remember where I got it from)- Find My Way - Unreleased/unknown Version (Now Identified)
It is usual for more than one acetate (known as Laquer in the industry to be made) In general, there are probably fewer than a half dozen acetates cut of any single and they will be rare. On very rare occasions, when a record company was in a hurry to get their album or single to radio stations, they would send acetates directly to them. These were then usually supplemented with regular vinyl pressings as soon as it could be arranged, as acetates were and are entirely unsuited to repeated play, as might be warranted by having them played on the radio.- Vent 1009.
