I don't think you should be confused, as the early 1970's saw the infection of the Northern Soul scene and lots of records were issued again to make sales and of course that was when the "Bootleg" scene took hold. You are spot on about it being recorded in London as Mervyn Conn was based in Soho, London and Produced many records including Chapter Five, Gene Latter, Kenny Bernard Etc.

Seems it never got an outing in the US even on Epic, I wonder why ? just made for the UK Soul scene ? It was re-issued in 1972

Coloured vinyl originals
I agree, however the problem is that Discogs and other sites who do average sales prices don't mention where in the world they were sold from and to and shipping is a cost as well to the value of a record purchase IMHO Example I sell single for £70 to Uk and shipping is £2.56 signed for and US is over £9.50 so price of purchase has shot up including shipping costs I would have thought that they could (with modern technology) give a true average price

Another sad, sad loss Nice article here, RIP Theresa https://soulfuldetroit.com/web16-correctone/08/08-Theresa.htm- Maurci Label
I noticed that Monique is Monique Greene (that's as far as we know) It is now mentioned here (further down number 4 comment) https://soul-in-groove.eklablog.com/the-three-jades-a126536182- newly discovered Eddie Holman and Joe Frazier tracks
I wonder which naughty person will pay $0.79 cents for a download and we will all notice a bootleg appear (soon)- "I,ve Been Cheated" Dalton Boys .
The "Best" is easy Bestway Products Inc. Defunct injection-molding record pressing plant which was located in Mountainside, New Jersey, USA. Founded in 1946 and active until the mid-1980s. The company pressed for labels such as Bell, Scepter, Yew, etc. Bestway's Founder, Al Massler, was responsible for pioneering the manufacturing practice of using styrene to press records (particularly 45's). Often marked with a "B", "BW", "BEST", or oblique "Bestway" stamped in run-out. "BW" may be found also in the label matrix.- Doni Burdick - Open the door to your heart... noise?
Fred I cannot understand for the life of me what buyer would ever ever complain about noise in the run-out I get it with an LP as couch listeners will listen to each side without wanting noise in between tracks People listen to the music on singles surely and if they listen to the run-out or as a DJ don't start the record when the music starts or when it finishes then that to me is most "odd" these people should be buying CD's- "I,ve Been Cheated" Dalton Boys .
Staggered is original Matrix / Runout (A machine stamped): SK4M--2682-1-A Matrix / Runout (A hand etched): AC-II-148301 Matrix / Runout (B machine stamped): SK4M--2687-1-A Matrix / Runout (B hand etched): AC-LX-155104 Straight copy is also original as appears to have same stampers both from November 1965 (me thinks)- Is this for real?
Sorry that was the other release, the confusion I think is the name of the label, as "Detroit" has not been moved to Suffolk in England, as far as I aware- Is this for real?
What both myself and Chalky are getting at is that there are so many bootlegs around at the moment and we just feel this one is "odd" and are trying to clarify with the knowledge that is on Soul Source if it is a genuine licensed release or NOT- miles grayson record producer
