  3. IMO not a biggie at all but played there a few times.
  4. Don't really know for definite but I'd guess maybe during pop phase at Wigan ? The UK 45 to me was more a British collectible known pre-Wigan.
  5. Having been forced to watch every episode of Columbo and some more than once, I did notice the M- grading. Not near mint - Columbo would consider that sloppy evidence gathering and ruin his chances of convicting Patrick McGoohan. Of course why he didn't recognise McGoohan immediately as the murderer after his first appearance on the show just shows Columbo wasn't as smart as he's made out to be. Back on track, I assumed he just bought old boots in nice condition. At least he has some standards. Benji, I don't really keep up with boots but yes I wondered that too in relation to Kiki Dee. No doubt someone on here will know. It may be he's pressing up vinyl to use for his copied labels.
  6. Just to be precise these appear to be old boots with stuck-on copies of original labels ? Ad refers to second hand reissues. He's not pressing up the actual vinyl.
  7. Thanks for prompt response. Just mark as SOLD but leave price in.
  8. Please don't remove sales price once sold. Have a look at the guidelines. Thanks ROD [Moderator]
  9. What do you mean " Edited to remove sold items" ? Please read the sales guidelines about NOT removing information. And also please note the instruction to edit the ad to show SOLD or ON HOLD instead of constantly bumping your ad by these unnecessary extra posts. In future follow the guidelines please. ROD [Moderator]
  10. It was the beginning of looking back rather than forward but no big deal
  11. I think Doris is getting some undeserved stick here. This track IMHO has a typical beat-ballad structure and far better than the Lu Elliott.
  12. Last two posts merged into existing topic.
  13. Thank you Steve though in my defence I was aiming at humorous rather than informative. If only there were a recently published tome available from all good stockists that detailed the background to this Detroit backing track ending up on WAND.
  14. A reminder to both sellers and buyers to make use of the feedback facility on here. The system is now set up so that whenever feedback is posted for members they can receive an automatic notification. See link below as to options and instructions on how to set it up. Thanks ROD [Sales Moderator]
  15. Wasn't Patti Austen rather expensive ? I know I've seen it popping up in wants recently.
  16. Ah the seldom seen Mutt copy. Recorded at Terrier Shirma studios. I once had a lead on a box of 'em.
  17. Perfectly OK to communicate in public but I think using personal message facility more suited to private transactions. ROD [Moderator]
  18. The lock-on auto feed corrector was disabled due to variance in the manifold distributor. Luckily I had a sonic screwdriver. No idea but editing worked. To avoid in future maybe drop Mike a PM and explain how you posted the ad. Sure he can talk you through it.
  19. That will be £19.99 plus VAT. ROD

  21. I was fearing the worst re Gaye track but it's OK. Don't see the point of Al Kent at all, nor the couple of album cuts which are easily available for £10-20. Musically thought Randolph very average.
