  1. Ordered this at Waterstones Monday. Got a phone call today saying order cancelled as they dont deal with distributor.
  2. Hi Kev. Update for the confused (ME) My copies, Ron Kenoly - Movin on - black Audio Arts (i have not seen a blue) Al Waples - Movin on - black Audio Arts Ron Kenoly - Youre still blowing my mind - blue Audio Forty My confusion came about cause thread title is about Movin on but Newer states Popsike copies on blue. The only Ron Kenoly record i can see on Popsike is the other release. Tricky
  3. Palmer issue rarer. ( tongue in cheek ) Tricky
  4. Are you getting confused? Mine are, Moving on / Glory of your love on black Audio Arts. Youre still blowing my mind / Take it easy on blue Audio Forty. Not saying moving on didnt make it onto blue but could only see Audio Forty disc on Popsike. Both nice tunes by the way. Tricky
  5. I always assumed the Del Satins was a Soussan thing. If it was deffo one of his best. That girl can sing. Tricky
  6. (This example stumps me as it checks all the boxes for a good, uptempo soul dancer) Err no it doesnt! Dismissed. Tricky
  7. Thought it was a mid 70,s release. The single is number 43. Tricky
  8. As an aside to this. Before the Payola scandal put an end to it. Your American radio DJ,s werent doing too bad for dough.Cash for plays. Especially playing records on labels they owned or had a stake in! Tricky
  9. Superb night of pure Soul again. My varied choices this week were; Thomas East - Follow the rainbow - True Soul Vessie Simmons - Shiftless shady - Simco Temprees - My baby love - We Produce Cruisers - Mink and sable mable - Gamble New Perspective - Stone outta my head - Maxwell Johnny Johnson - I dont know why - Stateside Garnet Mimms - Can you top this - Verve Vernon Harrell - Cant take the hurt - Calla Al tikki Hudson - Cry baby -MR Begginning of the End - Funky nassau part II - Alston Tricky
  10. Sorry Dave. I know i should have put record was not in very good condition but it didnt have the same impact. Sorry Again Trev
  11. Still laughing now. Eddie Parker, Ebay, F******, over $2,000. You wouldnt turn it into a clock. 0 Had to edit for language. Words like this cause problems for filters at work etc. Please refrain. Cheers, Dave
  12. Just got one of these.Bought it for the other side though. Eddy Grant production. Last week i also saw a different track by them on American Chess. Also an Eddie Grant production. Tricky
  13. Just sold one for £50.That is the most it should cost. Used to think it was demo only at one time but issues turn up on the bay. Cliff Steele has been playing it for a several years on and off and others are also picking up on it. Hence record being played price spirals. Tricky
  14. Supper Club Crooner! Sacrilege i know from a Detroit nut.
  15. I wouldnt buy a record at any price and not play it. Honestly. A record is intended for a deck. Tricky
  16. Just a point about records in general.Personally at home or if i DJ i play the original. I have paid nothing and upwards for my tunes. They are meant to be played so i play them. That is what they are for. If you spend loads and dont play them you are just an investor and that is not what a lot of us ever bought records for. Tricky

Whats wrong with it FFS. If you have to ask you wouldnt understand. Its about a scene and dress sense most left behind in the 70,s. i get more and more depressed every day.The commercialism first time around was bad enough. If it werent for the friends iv made i would twat this dysfunctional scene right off. Record collection for sale very soon. Tricky
  18. Never seen a WD of this.Didnt know there was one. Trev
  19. Bit of Funk,70,s and Crossover from me. Would have included Lovelles meself Sean Cruisers - Mink and sable mable - Gamble Al Tikki Hudson - Cry baby - MR Tony Morgan - Why build a mountain - Beacon (uk only?) Vessie Simmons - Shiftless shady - Simco John Rootman Henry - Say it - Dig Tricky
  20. Try getting £7-800 for a Kenny Gamble with black text. The Jokes on me.
  21. Well i would buy the black texts for 25 every day of the week. Put them side by side and there is no difference. Johnny M is not infallible!! Not having a go just saying in my opinion on this he is incorrect. As i stated earlier the Ambassadors Storm Warning is black text and i dont think i have seen this with blue. Also if memory serves me right Jimmy Bishop Blackman is black text. I am talking about 60,s vinyl pressings and not 70,s re-issues. Trev
  22. I always thought Teddy was mr P. Also the last release which was Royal Five was 1969.
  23. Black text vinyl Arctic Soul Grooves are real. There are two or three black text Arctics. Think Ambassadors Storm Warning is another but would have to check. Trev
  24. Be Careful!!! 2 versions / cuts of this and they are very different. Trev
  25. What a pile of poo! and even if it did get played at Wigan why would you play it now. Thousands upon thousands of proper SOUL records out there to play. I despair i really do. Anybody ready to reactivate Ted Cassidy The Lurch.
