Just sold one for £50.That is the most it should cost. Used to think it was demo only at one time but issues turn up on the bay. Cliff Steele has been playing it for a several years on and off and others are also picking up on it. Hence record being played price spirals. Tricky

Just a point about records in general.Personally at home or if i DJ i play the original. I have paid nothing and upwards for my tunes. They are meant to be played so i play them.That is what they are for. If you spend loads and dont play them you are just an investor and that is not what a lot of us ever bought records for. Tricky

Well i would buy the black texts for 25 every day of the week. Put them side by side and there is no difference. Johnny M is not infallible!! Not having a go just saying in my opinion on this he is incorrect. As i stated earlier the Ambassadors Storm Warning is black text and i dont think i have seen this with blue. Also if memory serves me right Jimmy Bishop Blackman is black text. I am talking about 60,s vinyl pressings and not 70,s re-issues. Trev

The thing is i agree with Chalky that it is / was a common tune. However there are far more collecters now worldwide than ever before. If you had it in your collection as opposed to say a hotbox not many people would sell it would they? Hence a rise in price.
