Ebay were also involved on a test court case last year after they prevented people from selling promos. Ebay lost the case and now allows promo copies of records and CDs to be sold. So I don't think the STO was correct to prevent you from selling these items Absolutely also theire is a wider issue ie restrain of trade,after the first copyright law!!! To me the issue is not about the legislation or lack of it it is about enforcement and how that is structured and regulated -Universal losing a case well that in itself is very interesting bearing in mind their financial clout so you can bet your doller that a strong appeal may ensue but so what -its finger in the air imho "has the sex or race discrimination act stopped racism or sexism ?
