i was at andy dysons house one time around 1993 he was working with tim brown around that time and listening to stuff he pulled out 5 copies of the ultimates 45 on broma. it had recently been on a goldmine lp with the piano intro missed off and i should imagine thats when it was on brownies front page. when i enquired about the price ....................£15 each. couldnt leave it, still have it dave

i remember seeing the sound patterns copy 20 odd years ago it was rarer and more expensive than the sound impressions copies back then.if some copies are recent presses then nothing is safe.............................................four tracks anyone? dave

be careful when buying the lp. lots of reissues around dave

yes ive started listing stuff on usa ebay as well and i havent got the hang of the postage thing either. i do deduct a bit tho if someone in uk wins the item . the free postage thing has made me do this and the better exposure for better quality stuff aswell but i still list bits and bobs and uk releases on uk ebay dave

johnny manship had the jones issue for £250 at one point and he probably sold it .one thing is certain tho.its been on perux site (lee/steve jeffries) recently for £300 i think................. me, well i think its worth a punt at £80 dave

there are a few dealers on gemm ..... rockhouse and one or two others who list 45`s they dont necessarily have in stock.also a few more ...carec and archdeacon spring to mind who im sure will never have sold a 45 in their lives judging by the prices they charge. but also loads of familiar uk dealers are on there and of course their 45`s are book price or as near as damn it. still plenty of good finds tho dave

its only worth about a tenner val but sells for nearer £50. blue is the rarer 2nd issue but im sure my pal paul at soul galore had one of each for sale recently but had the orange for more:g:. someone local to me anyways dave
