  1. Don't miss this 2 hour radio show plotting the course of Northern Soul in the UK from the early 1970s right up until today's scene. https://www.facebook.com/events/1419675291671554/ Saturday sees the 1st Belgian showing of Elaine Constantine's film "Northern Soul". Hear it straight from someone who was there.
  2. I have the video of the film

  4. Sorry, Thunderbird is a re-issue. To answer the original question, find an ORIGINAL is quite tough almost all floating around the UK are boots. Best find one in the US expect to pay £15 - 20.00 for a decent copy. Good luck.

  15. Sad indeed, he was responsible for many a person becoming a soul fan. Mission accomplished.

  18. Yes there were, just off the top of my head, James Bounty and Sam & Kitty.
  19. There were a whole bunch of look-a-likes done in the 70s only the vinyl gives you an indication of which one is the boot.
  20. Original Bootleg Original
  21. Probably the most reliable and intriguing watch I've ever owned is this one. A Competition II, US assembled from some Swiss parts, can't find any history on it or the manufacturer. Rumour says made by either Benrus or Waltham and given by Ford to good customers at races. I'm guessing late 70s or early 80s.
  22. It gets worse by the minute !!
