I personally think that Rhythm & Blues sounds much more appropriate as most of the clubs up and down all 4 corners of the UK & Europe where playing RnB , Northern Soul , is that not a lazy metaphor or just misinterpretation ?

If I'm not mistaken, a few of the artists moved to Europe and the UK where their music was appreciated more than in the states .

As anyone seen the advert for Fury V Usyk on Sky Sports , a lot of work went into making that one , just hope the fight is as good , February 17th box office .

Surely everyone wether young or old must realize , that the Northern Soul Scene is about the music , not a Celebutante, Influencer/ manipulator or whatever Social media wants to call them . The fresh young face of Northern Soul will still be dancing to sounds heard and danced to for the first time probably, that we did 50 yrs ago because they where and still great records , no one person can take the credit or ever should .

Hi Dax , clearing out another draw of bits and bobs and have found 4 no C90s , no use to me haven't got a tape player , and don't want another. Tape 1 , Radio 1 interview featuring Annie Nightingale, Dave Envison & the Legend Edwin Starr from 1983 . Tape 2, Jimmy James & the Vagabonds live at " Pussycats " in Wakefield quite good actually . Tape 3, Recorded live at the Wigan Casino , can't guarantee sound quality Tape 4 , A Nigel Parker compilation from Brighouse 1993 , includes some great tunes . Yours if you want them mate

2nd anniversary, got busted about 2.30 am after queuing for the best part of 2hrs to get in , banged up in a cell with a few others , was released and told to return on the following Wednesday with a parent to receive a caution (didn't go down to well , but my Dad did agree to come with me ) but was released on the night in question and got back in , just in time for the 3 before 8 and a lift home .

Just landed what a cracker of a tune on the top side & a great b side too , cheers to DJ Cliff Steele , and of course Dave @ Soul Junction for releasing it

Hi everybody who's in the know , I recently received one of those "Anker" speakers , so I can listen to music at work , for the last 15 months I have been working underground , with no chance of any radio signal , have had a look around , don't want the ask Alexa type Northern Soul , a bit of every thing soulful , classics new releases if possible, just a good mixture really, with no adverts . So before I commit and sign up any pointers ? Thank you beforehand.

Yes it has been booted , via Kidderminster & the Welsh connection, about £6. these days on eBay , how to tell the difference, the vinyl looks about a week old and mint , which is all the proof you need really .

Wednesday 3/1/24 show , on the iPlayer now for those that missed it , for the next 27 days . It's a shame it's not live on Saturday night , but then again not necessary if it's available for free on catch up, listen when you can and he does play requests, if you get them in on time , so not all the tracks listed are the only ones played , the requested tracks not listed , if that makes sense !

Oh come on guys and girls , this deserves an audience, no Dily , Daly , on here and lots of surprises,no mention in the requests of what's requested, so more than the 31 tunes listed , ,,,

Not if it's worth a 5th of the asking price I wouldn't, I already own 3 copies , 2 legitimate UK and a REISSUE boot plus instrumental , purchased about 20yrs ago so not one of the recent nasty unwanted copies ,so why would I pay well over the odds , for an overpriced trophy copy ?

Couldn't have been this version, could it?

The Conduit said he did , & so did the press or was it just a hoax , & yes it does matter , because the next buyer is probably going to get ripped off , 3 yrs later 50k profit , it's worth is probably nearer £20K tops .
