Surely the buyer should have done his / hers homework , A record that has been booted at least 3 times and visually on eBay can be seen and questions asked prior to purchase , the buyer is to blame . Good luck Soul16 , hope it goes the right way .

I feel like a bit of a light weight , only 2 & half years , but very late in purchasing my first Laptop ( about 3 months earlier ) never had the need for one , until I wanted to buy a record and my wife , who's Laptop I used to use occasionally, told me to #+#+ off and buy your own , so I did . Then came COVID and Lockdown and during Furlough I discovered SS , the rest is history as they say . Been a blast , great for info, great for purchasing records and I wish she'd told me to #+#+ off years ago .

Ralph , RIP mate, had the pleasure of Ralph's company away from the scene ,we both played darts at The Bishopsgate Club , on the Foleshill Rd in Coventry , he once was DJing whilst we played darts at a Bobby George charity evening and as I did my walk on to play Bobby he played my favourite Lou Pride I'm Comin Home , it didn't work 2-2 final leg I was waiting to go back for a 96 out shot after 12 darts and Bobby finished the 127 he needed to beat me , gutted but a great night , even a kind word from Bobby didn't make it any better . As mentioned previously Ralph , a perfect gent lovely company, some great stories of days gone by will be sorely missed , love to all his family ❤️❤️❤️

I guess it was an error , looking at discogs and checking the times printed on labels , Originally 2.51 mins. back in 1965 . Reissued in US, Canada , UK all 2.51 mins. in 73/74 Australia 2.54 mins /74 South Africa 2.49 mins /74 Germany 2.48 mins /74 None of the 6 x I think, UK reissues have a time printed on them only the promo's at 2.51 I've never seen or heard a copy from either Australia ,South Africa or Germany anybody ? To prove one way or the other a one off . Good luck

Oh I don't know , I actually think it's something to look forward to , and gives me a good laugh once a week , when I think what we payed for most of them back in the day , the only down side unless there's a crash the younger generation will once again miss out unless they win the lottery.

Released today , I think, just listened and watched the video for" Nightshift" , a very big production and no doubt Ken Bruce's next record of the week .

It seems incredible Mike that we're still waiting for them to be released, hopefully they'll fall into the lap of Ady and the team at Ace /Kent records and the long wait will be worth it ,

Apart from all the great tunes he wrote for others , this has to go down as one of best RIP and thank you sir , and what a great production team

Prior to playing DILY, Ken Bruce announced that the Bruce Springsteen version was to be the Radio 2 "record of the week " !

Back in 2019 , I thought this track had a hint of Soul in it , and he does include quite a few in his live sets too , so it was only a matter of time , but Do I Love You is going to get played to death by The Boss on the radio so lots of royalties which is a good thing .

After drinking that cocktail , I'd after to stick to playing a couple of CDs , to avoid scratching or permanently ruining what was a great playlist LOL

Been a long week at work ,, but arriving home and finding this had arrived made it all feel worth while , MOVE ON UP ,,,

On the deck at the moment, both great sides , flip just edging it , great work Soul Direction in finding and releasing them

Thank you Scarlett, we had it on at work today , 4 pm , any plans to expand the story perhaps for a TV, BBC documentary would make great viewing , and especially with the visual similarity being such an important factor in the story line , no pressure , just an idea
