  1. If a record is in near mint condition and then someone/anyone writes on the label, it has now been defaced! That makes it of less value to me. There is plenty of paper for autographs, no need to deface records.
  2. A lot of soul MGM releases are rarer on the black issues. But regarding the Mamie Lee, both are nice, with the yellow demos slightly harder to get than the issues.
  3. These three Timothy Wilsons on Buddah. They are not a lot of money, but brilliant records!💫
  4. "Cashing In" - Voices Of East Harlem - Just Sunshine. "You're Gone"- Celeste Hardy - Reynolds. "Can't Live Without You" Connie Laverne - GSF and many more💫
  5. Declon refers to this record as being a Decca recording. It was issued on Decca in the UK. As far as I remember, all the originals have "A Declon Recording" written under the names of Frankie and Johnny.
  6. I like that alternate version, I think it would sound good, loud in a venue! I first heard Rosey Jones played as a "cover up". It was titled as "All I Need Is Half A Chance" by Carlos Monroe, when Richard Searling started playing it at the Casino.
  7. Jackie Wilson "Whispers" L.P. "My Heart Is Calling"

  9. The Sapphires "Gotta Have Your Love" all-time classic on a nice Excellent condition demo original. It is much harder to get on the white demo than the black issue. £110 plus £3.60 postage. Sold. The Soulful Twins on the original Sable label. Great record that shares the same backing track as "Count The Days" Magnetics. M- condition. £175 + £3.60 post. SOLD.
  10. Wade Flemons is a vinyl original and in very nice, clean M- condition. Comes with VJ factory sleeve. £150 plus £3.60 tracked postage. SOLD.
  11. Teddy and the Finger Poppers is ok, but I much prefer Cliff Nobles version on Phil La of Soul!
  12. Keep them! Don't sell your soul😊! I am enjoying the money, buying great records💫 If I sold my records, the money would just flitter away on this and that semi-meaningless things!
  13. A nice clean mint- original demo of this Impressions classic "I'm The One Who Loves You" £40 + 3.50 postage. The Soulful Twins with "I Can't Let You Go" on the original Sable label. Shares the same backing track as "Count The Days". £175 + postage.
  14. Nice clean mint- original demo of this Impressions classic "I'm The One Who Loves You" £50 + 3.50 postage. Also, The Soulful Twins with "I Can't Let You Go" on the original Sable label. Shares the same backing track as "Count The Days". £200 + postage.
  15. When I first got started with Northern, I just wanted the records to play and wasn't bothered about the label. I sent for a Monster sound at Wigan at that time, Dana Valery "You Don't Know where Your Interest Lies" When it came it was an Emi disc with six tracks on it. Dana Valery "You Don't Know Where Your Interest Lies", Pointer Sisters "Send Him Back", Len Barry "I'll Always Need You", Lynn Varnado "Wash And Wear Love", Bernard Pretty Purdie "Fickle Finger Of Fate and Phil Loman "Rock Me, Till I Want No More" Phil Loman was another very big tune back then and the others were all a bonus!
  16. That's very sad news. A true gentleman and a great entertaining DJ. He could really get the dance floor packed and just knew what to play next!
