  1. The Vocals ... 1 - Frankie & Classicals "What Shall I Do" (With Cold Start) - Calla 2 - Frankie & Classicals "What Shall I Do" (With Talk In Intro)- Calla 3 - Laura Greene "Moonlight Music In You" - RCA 4 - The Essex "Moonlight Music And You" - Bang The Instrumentals ... 5 - Subway Riders "After The Session" - Moonshot (probably not the correct title, as this tune only appears on some copies, most have an unrelated audio of session musicians talking after a recording, which is probably the intended B side, as it also makes sense of the title. 6 - Honey Townsend "The World Again" - Mala. 7 - Burning Emotions "The New World" - Bang (not to be confused with the ABC release, which is a different song altogether). 8 - Mark Johnson "The Beautiful Place" - Diamond (Identical to Burning Emotions but this has the slow intro cut out). That's eight, and apart from the RCA acetate of the Cheerleaders (which I don't know, but understand it to be the same backing track), that's all there is. If you have a total of 16 / 17, I can only assume this is adding up all the different label variations of the same songs eg demos and issues / Phiips / Pye DD / all the different colours of RCA etc. Cheers Mick
  2. It is a different mix, most of the strings are missing, especially in the inst break. The mispress (in terms of vinyl mastering and production) all over the place. The A side is labelled "The Bounce" (66-3052-A) - The runout etching is 66-3052-A. So far so good, however it plays the "Same Old Thing" (Alt) The B side is labelled "The Duck" (66-3053-B) - The runout etching is 66-3052-B. So that doesn't line up. Add to that the fact it plays "The Bounce" rounds off a very bad day in the office. I'm sure this mispress is a 70's job, via Soussan. It is much the same in style as the 70's Ciggarette Ashes etc. with that miniscule hint of silver in the blue label. I can post a sound file directly here, but are we allowed to these days ? I know a few years ago mods were killing the direct downloads (apart from sales), but I've seen more than a few in recent times. If not, just PM me and I'll "bounce" it to you. Cheers Mick
  3. Nothing. They're still there, only change was in ownership about two (or three) years ago. Cheers Mick
  4. Yes, i always liked this one. I used to get a lot of Vanessa / Ginos / BarCar etc. from Gene Norman about that time, and I would always get freebies on top of ordered stuff. This was one of them. think I had three, and I remember giving one away as a Christmas present. Cheers Mick
  5. Was it on Lost Night ? Can't remember seeing one, but there is so much on that label.
  6. Gladys Knight, "Ain't You Glad To Chose Love" was released on a 45 in the Phillippines, whilst the Marvelettes "Your Love Can Save Me", came out as an EP in the US, albeit a demo only to promote their album. Cheers mick
  7. Pete, there was a thread about this record around a year ago, (might have been a reactivated thread referring to the Popsike copy). I think it was assumed to be rare, maybe it was unconfirmed up to that point, of maybe someone else said they had one too, can't remember, but it's on here somewhere. Cheers Mick Just found it ...
  8. Look to me to be the same item - just got entered on discogs twice. One has an odd release number stated (probably a leftover from a copy/edit the poster used) and that could be why it slipped past the discogs police. Cheers Mick
  9. Don't know if this is still the case, but they end up in either Belfast or Southampton. I seem to remember letters end up in Southhampton, and parcels go to Belfast (it could be the other way round, and this could also be outdated info anyway). As to what happens within these pixie dust caverns ... Cheers Mick
  10. Just as a matter of interest, where (on a UK seller account), would these Global shipping settings be ? Had a quick look on mine, and can't seem to find it Cheers Mick It's OK, just found it .. Account / Postage and packaging preferences / Offer the Global Shipping Programme.
  11. I've only ever received one parcel from US throught their Global shipping. The parcel took about 3 weeks to leave the US, and then the normal week to arrive here. Upon opening, I found the record had been taped to the cardboard stiffner and was impossible to remove without damaging part of the label. Paid about £17/18 postage for this privilage. I should point out, the parcel was OK when it left the seller, and had been opened and resealed by eBay - the eBay logo on the tape was a giveaway. Never again. If I find (as a seller) that I've been "selected" for this program, I would opt out straight away. I wouldn't want to be offering that to customers. Cheers Mick
  12. Think there's something wrong with it though, maybe damaged / unplayable ? , sort of like on of the recent(ish) vinyl copy of Margaret Little with a piece missing. Cheers Mick
  13. Seem to remember Billy Arnell features on the credits of some of the Drifters Bell recordings from early 70's. Can't remember which ones though (Or was it on the Fantastics recording credits, same time same label ?)

I got just over £200 for one a few days later, again Jamaican, again eBay https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/201193805311 Cheers Mick
  15. Some stuff ending tonight, with a few goodies inc ... Young Ladies - Stang / Tony Middleton - UK Polydor issue / Bettye Swann - Game ... Played / ZZ & Co Plus others, ending tonight (Thursday Oct 23rd) about 8:20pm onwards https://www.ebay.co.uk/sch/motown-sound/m.html Cheers Mick
  16. There's this one - Phil Lowman "Look At Me", but going by you'r lyrics, I don't think its the one you're after. Cheers Mick
  17. Now I see the list, some are familiar, but I've not seen any of the last three, Rock Heart onwards. Thanks for update. Cheers Mick
  18. That's Pep's writing - He used to do a cover like that to stick in the wall of his shop. Actually, the "£1.50 / Original" is his writing, but the blue felt tip is Helens. Cheers Mick
  19. The Joyce Webb is from the first Ric Tic series - think there were only 3 or 4 records in that first series. Apparently there are seven (see post 5)
  20. He might mean the "non skipping" run, as it was pressed two (or possibly three) times, and only one of those presses were faulty. Cheers Mick
  21. That track was also "hidden" on the vinyl LP too(well, unlisted on the label and cover, but just there as the last track on side 4) I seem to remember the artist was "Sapphire" Cheers Mick
  22. Looks like juno are out of stock at the moment (they'll probably have them back in soon though) - the Secret Stach links in post #40 seem the best option at the moment.
  23. I got mine from Juno (UK) yesterday, think there's a few places in the UK that have them.
