Yep, absolutely. Our passion and interest in the music keeps throwing up these "wonders". I love the intrigue and the twists and turns - it's fantastic, real life, contemporary history. Brilliant stuff - lifelong learning indeed!

I'm playing catch up and just had a listen - thanks Smiffy. Cleaner and clearer vocals is what I can hear in the main. They are both top draw pieces of soul - great dance music.

Hi Keith Never heard that Tony Stone record and when you said it was a great version I thought "yeah right". I've always been a fan of Geoff Perry's song - but you're right. It's a pretty damn good version!

I knew you'd have heard it a million times and I saw the cake. Your surname reminded me of my ex's dad Mick who was from Preston. I went to Eccles market with him a few times - and we bought cakes. He passed away a few years ago and I was very fond of him. So there was a melancholy touch to my post. I wasn't just being cheeky!

Peter99 is ok - there were other Peter's on here before me so had to add something. Following the gas explosion and my subsequent brain injury Bearsy and Moggy gave me the nickname(s) Ironside99 and Corgi Boy! They were cheeky feckers - but it was funny and I quite like them both. Might change my avatar name to Ironside99 - it is quite original.
