  5. Anyone have a nice clean one for me?
  6. My copy of Harold Andrews is an orange stock copy that plays the same version as Manship's. I'd never heard the slow one till now!
  7. Is "Call Me" different on the Carrie and Jameco releases? How so? (It didn't come out on Mary Jane, as far as I can tell.)

There's a very good (to me, anyway) version of this by the Bernie Lowe Orchestra on a Cameo 45.

"You Gotta Go" I gotta have. Anyone?
  12. Didn't know about the Hot Cinnamon version. I've been hammering my Joe and George copy. Sounds like it's exactly the same recording. Anyone know what the story is? Does this mean that if I'm DJ'ing at an "OVO" event I should leave my Joe and George at home?

Oh, so I guess if I'm playing at an "OVO" event, I shouldn't bring my Tamboo copy?
  14. Note: Woodward Avenue is currently in the midst of a huge construction project, so take this into account as you plan: https://m-1rail.com/construction/construction-map/ I second the recommendation of the museum. The Diego Rivera Detroit Industry murals are essential, an important piece of the history and culture of Detroit. And the room that they're in sometimes plays host to concerts. I saw Melvin Davis and Pat Lewis there a couple years ago. MW

While the Cat's Away/Who's in the Shack My copy has broken in half but is otherwise mint. I'd like to replace it with an uncracked minter. Thanks.

Let me guess. You're still looking. I'd consider letting mine go, but it would have to be for significantly more than what the last one sold for on ebay. PM me with an offer. It's in pretty flawless condition, been my DJ copy for years and not eager to let it go but for the right price it could be yours.
