  1. lol pete just couldn't see what my post had to do with his point.
  2. only said as a small time COLLECTOR i was interested in what price it was going to fetch. Same as look through other websites and on here to see whats certain records ive got that are mention and what value they are and if i want to see a few bit im bored with and get new stuff. Never once moaned about prices on manships site or idiots being ripped off on ebay at the end of the day its only worth what someones prepared to pay. sorry soul police for putting my opinion on a record forum
  3. my only interest is how much it will go for and always love to keep an eye on prices off records guess us less collectors are just anorak's
  4. the man had a awesome voice and a big part of or music "the only way is up" still love this today even after yazz version spoiled it. thought and prayers to his family at this sad time RIP

  7. great and well written piece and of history your incite to post wigan. the weekender scene was big with the upnorth promotions by alex lowes if i remember from fleetwood,morecambe pontins and eventually southport and 21 years later still going strong but has gone more modern/dance after a few years had some great times there.

They did a heritage weekend in morecambe and the sunday was classed as northern soul alldayer which part of the event was dancing lessons from Levanna Mclean which i cringed when i read it a promotional pamphlet. NOT saying she cant dance its the thought of dance lessons at an alldayer the mind boggles

  18. The motor city stuff was shocking the original versions were stand alone classics and cant think of one he improved.
