I very rarely write owt online but had to on this one.

10th Anniversary at the CO-OP - THE BEST NITER FOR A LONG LONG TIME!!

The atmosphere was brilliant, the music was brilliant, Tommy Hunt was brilliant and the organisation was brilliant.  Well done Mark it is one to go down in northern history mate.  SUPERB in all respects.

RESPECT IS DUELY PAID!!!!!

                                                                                                                 A fantastic event it was just EPIC  

What a fantastic night!!!.....five of us (all local) rolled up about 9.30 to a friendly greeting from the soon to be Mrs freeman...and how good does Kim look! She has lost nearly 4st and is in amazing shape ( very fit! Lucky mark!)...we entered to an absolutely packed out room, never seen it so full at that time of night, it was rammed!....after getting our drinks we moved downstairs to see what les norman and john Weston were playing in the new 2nd room....and of course it was underplayed, rare stuff of the highest quality.....this new room is a great idea and a shame it closed at 12 as some of the guys who were going to follow John & les have amazing collections and it would of made a great over spill, rare play room till poss 2/3......anyway back up to the main oldies room..the music and atmosphere was amazing....off the top of my head...Bobby Kline, Mel Britt, Rita & the tiaras, the professionals to name but a few were played, and that's the tip of the iceberg!....the music played by all the djs was excellent and everything you would want from a proper oldies niter......been a while since I've been and have to say I had a great, great night!....mark & kim I doff my cap to you.....massive thank you for a truly awesome night...kind regards.....Rob Bull

p.s...I'm sorry I forgot to mention mr Tommy  Hunt the live act...I'm led to believe he is 82! And never missed a beat in his singing! Awesome and thank you.

Yep had a good un , BUT gonna have to go back to wearing dark glasses cus at times it was like dancing in a electrical storm!

It was fantastic realy good well done mark
