    It would be a shame to miss it - we've only managed to post about 5% of potential spins from  6 hours in 2 rooms, so there's a full 95% to go at yet!

    For me the idea is to give folk a taste of the sort of thing they may expect to hear on the night which I find more useful than simply advertising "Northern" or "across the board" or 60s & 70s etc. etc.

    When Soul Sam DJ'd at Culcheth last time he played The Timeless Legend to a packed dancefloor.

    We know it can be played in either room but will it. Just for fun will it be

    A, Played in 1 room,

    B Played in both rooms

    C Played in neither room.

    You'll have to be there to find out.

    I think this thread is a good idea, just 21st century version of an advert in Blues & Soul for the Mecca/Wigan/Cleethorpes back in the day.  Shame Surrey is so far away.
