I got this before it came out anywhere, got it played at Lifeline etc by Andy and Calvin Lee Hughes.  Magic record.

I've only got a carver of it mate but it would be criminal if it never got released on a 45. Big thumbs up from me chalky.

Talking of flipping them over this is ont t'other side of "Stop leave my heart alone", I'm not sure why I've come over all Yorkshire like, maybe cos Chalkys coming on Saturday. Manships recommended this one.

Yes Absolutely, you'd never play it out anywhere, it's just that i'd never flipped it like most of my records.

Phil Wainwright played this at Dab of Soul last Saturday, and we commented that it sounds great in a big room, so step forward the big room at Culcheth this Saturday and take a bow John Harris and the Soul Sayers

There are some great ‘oldies’ from the earlier days of the scene that you kinda take for granted cause for whatever reason they were pressed and became available to all. They were generally part of the fabric of going out to All-Nighters, listening to records, dancing and collecting a few ‘bits’ as you went along…but then you see a ‘real deal original’ and it stops you as you look and reminisce of those halcycon days…

Here’s two examples for me, both of which will be featured at CULCHETH This Saturday with Carl and Maria Willingham guesting

Billy Woods didn't John Anderson pick up a handful of copies ,with the intention to go back for the rest? Iconic record, oozing quality and the story behind it adds to the intrigue!!

Anyone catch Bob's spot last night 😉

Shame if you didn't, it will go down in Northern folklore, a thing of legend, in years to come it will be said it never happened, that nothing could have been that good.

See you tomorrow boys

It's okay Martin if anyone missed it, I'm doing a repeat performance tomorrow night. I even surprised myself how good I was. I'm hoping to get it on film to be used as a training video for up-coming dj's.

Don't forget it's drinks on me. Is Carol still tea total. I can afford a shandy.

This sounded fab last night, a former Culcheth main room spin for local legend Ian Cunliffe aka (Arthur Daley/Dell Boy) lol and a repeat spin this Saturday
