Always love it when this happens...got an email the other day..

"Thanks for featuring one of my songs on your upcoming podcast! I am Ray of Ray & Dave - Wrong, Wrong, Wrong. I am 63 years old now I recorded that song back in 1965. And soon afterward was drafted into the Army and went to Viet Nam! Thanks and God Bless for remembering our music.

SURE I'D INVEST IN ONE. THE HARMONIES ARE SOOOO TIGHT. MUST,VE HAD THE 45 THREE TIMES DOWN THE YEARS, BUT AIN'T GOT ONE AT THE MO. DID THEY RELEASE OWT ELSE?.

Quality tune...always wondered who these guys were.....they get a mention in Robert Pruter's book, but no real details.

Well I have heard from Ray, and so has Bob who is going to interview him for his Sitting In The Park radio show! The reply that Bob got is far more detailed so with his permission, here it is..

n.b. "Jimmy" is Jimmy Dobbins who is actually the third voice on "Wrong, wrong, wrong".

I wonder if Ray knows that his siongle came out on a cd here a few years ago?

As always God has touched so many lives in our day and age, it never

seems to wonder how He's able to bring so many good thing's to life!

I would love to do a radio interview whenever it is possible for you

to put all the parts together.

I miss Jimmy and Dave I've been trying to find out where did

everybody go to? have been out

of touch with Jimmy and Dave since 1966. I hope that they're

alright! Please let's bring the team back together just maybe the

love will follow and the world will be a happier place to live! I

It's called "Heaven on Earth" a spirited show featuring some of the

many songs that I've recorded over the years. I also have a myspace

page at: raydoclove; I guess you know how to find it I am not that

savy on all that techno stuff! I am starting a new genre called

"Spiritual Jazz" with a new twist to it you'll have to listen to it

and tell me what you think!

You can call me by my nick name "Doc Love" I can be reached by my

three voices on all the recording done by either Jimmy Dobbins or Ray

& Dave we all sing on each other's record. It was suppose to be a

hidden secret we were holding back on untill we hit the stage.

I was drafted before we got an opportunity to perform perhaps about

two or three times. I never got paid for any of the music that I

wrote; Wrong, Wrong, Wrong" "Six lonely days" "Little Miss Perfect"

or "What is Love' (I've found love") Jimmy, Dave or myself didn't get

paid a dime for any of our material. Bob Lee and Al Benson took us

to the cleaners.

I am President of a major Housing Corporation here in California. We

provide low to moderate income families with affordable housing &

financing! We're looking to close escrow on a large housing purchase

which will aid a lot of the many programs that we will be sponsoring

for the community! Please help me find my long lost friends.

I pray "God" that they're all doing well and resting in His arms just

like I am.
