Around 1975 i was playingrecords -can't really say it was djing - at the Central club in Leeds beforethe main Dj's came on. I was going to the Blackpool Mecca at this time &that was a huge influence on my music as they played the new releases of theday side by side with the 60's. 1978 and i was going to America to look for myown records & djing at more venues arround England. By 1982 i'd sold mostof my rare northern to concentrate on playing modern soul which i continued todo until 99/2000 when i decided i needed to go back to my roots. My firstventure out of England came when Gerhard asked me to play at his club inFrankfurt which would be 2002/3 and i was hooked it was so exciting to play toa totaly new - for me - crowd and since then i've guested at 4/5 times a yearall over Europe. I personaly love late 60s to late 70s with one or two early80s soul thrown in and, after allthe years of playing, the enjoyment it gives me is never ending. Edu Hi Guys, sorry i've been such a lazy ar'xx in reporting back, i'll blame the bad leg . Anyway the night/ weekend was all i expected it to be after hearing what good friends had to say, can sum it up in a few words, take wonderfull music surrounded by like minded people in a cool club in the heart of 1 of the worlds most beautiful vibrant cities & there you have it ! . Almost a little sideline but check out the quantity of shots they hit you with, not like good ol'e blighty i'll tell you .
