I love the fact that its British, it's a great dancer and yet slightly melancholy, the lyrics are simple yet there is a real story and a feeling of pain and hurt. A disco, dance beat drives me to the wildest dance and I love the horns that make this a rare stand alone track. I can hear it every day and yet still marvel in its composition as a master piece of strings, clip clop percussion and soaring but understated vocals.

It is a far removed from The Snake or do I love you blah de bleedin blah, its never gonna be found in the divies box but I tell ya that I love this record.

what is up with refosoul to get your track across to everyone, most if not all the tracks on youtube are in refosoul. Refosoul is a great resource members on here spend hours adding to and it is a waste not to use it.....IMHO

Loads of anthems already on this scene and everyone has favourites - but could/should they be THE National NS Anthem?

Refosoul is a bit too clunky if the truth be known and it takes me away from the page I am viewing and when I want to add a clip it isn't as user friendly as the tube.

I have wrestled with Refosoul on many occasions and sadly lost, it doesn't seam to favor the thick and I is thick.

"Webbydubbers" thanks for the observations you little pedant you, try to remember that this is like made up stuff and there are no rules like flying monkeys in the Wizard of Oz, we like know they cant fly and stuff but its like just a film.

Now if you want to choose your own Northernsoul National Anthem, I promise not to tell the Queen and you can choose anything you want and it doesn't have to be all scientific n stuff.

Simon why not view refosoul in a second window, it is what I do, and I presume you have youtube open in a seperate window? Just have two soul source pages open I simply search a track and it is there, play it and copy the link at the bottom of the page....really is easy.

If you would be kind enough to pm me and talk me through how to you use it i would be much obliged

Copy and paste this clip into a forum post (click to activate)

Once you click on this it will open up a little more with a link of to the track, click on this once, it will highlight copy the link and then simply paste it into the topic in question.

Youtube clips make the place look untidy to me and are often slow to load where as refosoul is practically instant. You can play the refosoul clip either in the window you are viewing or a seperate stand alone tab, there will be two "play" links to choose form, have a play around in there and get used to it Try posting a couple of tracks in one of the audio topics, 60's soul Sunday, crossover Friday or even this one

Refosoul searches 'as you type' and just pasting in rosemary won't trigger the search process. However if you type something i.e. hit the space bar, it should work OK.
