I'm sure we've had this before, but keep tripping over more versions. Bristol, Fuqua, Bullock must have earned alot from this song. Here a few new ones to me...

ALTON ELLIS ON TREASURE ISLE

...plus a different Alton Ellis version, for Studio 1, on the ''Sunday Coming' album.

a few more, Buddy Miles & The California Raisins, Bay Brothers, Motherload, Kenny G.

Even allowing for the late 80s 'instrumental technology', I've always really liked the Kenny G version - very faithful to the original, and with a decent vocal from Ellis Hall:

Juniors is one of my favourite records of all time.

have the Motherlode and quite partial to it.

There's a late 70s/early 80s version on Epic that's not bad, but i can't remember who it is :D

Not sure if these really count but there's a great version on a cheapo Motown L.P 'Motortown Hits' on Hallmark, obviously by some session musicians. Also a version on one of those 'Avenue' e.p's that were cheap immitations of pop/soul hits, Alan Cassidy I think?
