The Superlatives & Occasions are 2 great tunes worthy of spins - great buys for a pittance compared to similar quality tunes.

WHAT about:

INCREDIBLES - MISS TREATMENT - AUDIO ARTS

ORLONS - I AIN'T COMING BACK - CAMEO

MAGNIFICENT MEN - FOREVER TOGETHER - CAPITOL

JOHNSON, HAWKINS, TATUM & DURR - YOUR LOVE KEEPS DRAWING ME CLOSER - CAPSOUL

VISITORS - I'M IN DANGER - DAKAR

FLIRTATIONS - NEED YOUR LOVING - DERAM (STORMER)

RUBY WINTERS - JUST LIKE A YO-YO - DIAMOND (BETTER THAN "BETTER?")

MALIBUS - I JUST CAN'T STAND IT - DUKE

GENE WEST aka BARRY WHITE - LITTLE GIRL - ORIGINAL SOUND

MILLIONAIRES - NEVER FOR ME - PHILIPS

MALIBUS - TEN TIMES A DAY - SURE-SHOT

ALL PURCHASED FOR LESS THAN £25 - SOME A LOT LESS!!

Here's a quick two for you

1. Mary Wells - Me Without You- (20th Centrutry or Brit Stateside)

2 Clifford Curry - Cant get a hold of myself/ Aint no danger (elf/UK Pama)

The B side of Clifford Curry is far far better and sounds like a £300 record! The Mary wells is her best mid tempo (in my opinion)

Nice topic, plenty of under £25 tunes at THE SOULMINE, ALDERSHOT. Shameless plug I know, but just saw Colin Soulsmith plugging his Al Greene 45 which he bought from us. Still have a couple of copies left if interested.

Alan.

1.Buster Jones - Baby Boy - Sure Shot.

This was played in the eighties and has been lost in time. There are loads of records that are still cheap as the djs stick to playing the rarer stuff.

2. The Friendly People - Ain't Got Nothin But The Blues - VMP.

Dance floor filler in the 80's. Vocal and instrumental. If you see one they look like a boot. I have two copies of this one and am waiting for it to have it's time again
