Wow, what a FANTASTIC night - really enjoyed digging out some oldies that l hadn't spun for quite some time and playing them to a very enthusiastic crowd - a REAL old style allnighter atmosphere (Kinda reminded me of the Oddfellows in Leic) - SUPERB !!!

Sold a few records from my stall too - spot on !!!

Co-op 'niter - A must !!

Hey Mark, wicked night, danced a lot more than you for once, legs have never ached so much, which unfortunately is another sign of a great night. Trouble is, I had a climb arranged at Snowden on Monday, so I now have cramped cramp and blistered blisters. You & the ace DJ's still deserve a mega hand shake next time we meet. KTF Steve D

Hello Mark

My thanks for inviting me down to do a spot, Myself and Clare had a great time at your fabulous venue. I think Billy enjoyed himself at an oldies allnighter, first one for a while apparently. Well attended, floor full and great oldies you cant ask for more than that.

Keep doing what you are doing Mark cos it's obviously working.

Once again thank you.

Hi ian the last oldies all nighter for me was 30th anniversary at stoke, dressed up as a wigan joker that gotta be more than 6 years ago, i really did enjoy it, sounds i was hearing when i was a young apprentice at the casino, i was covered in tale i had to wash my clothes twice, really friendly place will recommend it to anyone who loves his/her soul music keep on keeping on billy

what can I say but 'wot a nite' ..........had a feeling it was going to be a good nite but it surpassed all expectations

sam evans (the no.01 female dj in my book) not just opened up but put the night on a level that had to be sustained as she was so good...

next came ian stacey who has got his confidence up more and more and kept the dancefloor busy with some great classics ,

then first time at the coop for Steve Cooper who gave us 45 minutes of wigan classics and did a great job but then

Colin James did a fab spot that had the dancefloor rammed until 12pm...

along came ian gee the midlands no.01 oldies dj to grace the coop stage who took the atmosphere to a new level , by this time the room was rocking and RED HOT!!!

Pete French who has one of the best collections in the UK did a flawless set with rareity after rarity and had the floor packed when I came on at 2.00am.

I kicked off with Wind - grooving with mr bloe and for the next played mostly requests until dave raistrick came on and did a sublime 75 minutes of east coast oldies and forgotten goodies...

Al Shaw did from 4.30 - 05.30 and played a brilliant hour of stafford and classic oldies and current indemanders and I finished off the last half hour with some classic oldies...as Lee said there was 70 left at 6am and was a fab nite...

many thanks to the Bolton allniter crowd and other regular all-niter travellers who came down , all the new faces who loved the night..my many regular punters who never let me down and the djs who did a great job...

there were a couple of repeats which ill look at for next time but all in all another hot and sweaty allniter at the coop - just like the old days if you llke uptempo oldies - the coop is right up your street.

next all niter is saturday 8th of october with ted massey and kev such the 100% wigan casino oldies allniter on dec 10th....

thanks for all your support

regards

mark (wiganer1) freeman
