November 6, 200519 yr Roscoe & Friends - Broadway Sissy get a bit frantic at times! Remember speed kills, and I'm not talking velocity!
November 7, 200519 yr Shake - British Walkers... fast and then some... real full on stomper... blinding
November 7, 200519 yr Was just a moment ago racking my brain for fave Tempests tracks... and came to think of one of my fave REALLY fast tunes. "Can't Get You Out Of My Mind". Have a listen: https://www.soulclub.org/stream/The_Tempest..._Of_My_Mind.ram Also, Fredrick Knight's debut disc, "Steppin Down" on MAXINE, is just slightly too frantic for the dance floor (as I experienced this past friday... ): https://www.soulclub.org/stream/Fredrick_Kn...teppin_Down.ram Another fantastic frantic track is International Kansas City Playboys "Everybody's Goin' Wild": https://www.soulclub.org/stream/Internation..._Going_Wild.ram
November 7, 200519 yr I played theTempests 'Can't get you out of my mind' track out last night. Even pitched it up 2 notches. Nobody batted an eyelid, Camden freaks. Great tune. Surely impossible to dance to

Thanks in advance. [/ i got spares on both those titles, drop me a line if you still need em , sometimes i spin the eskew reeder even at -2 it's a tad sharp but proper northern soul !quote]

November 11, 200519 yr attachmentid=7330 Once upon a time I could dance to this, but same as Mandy not now, Love to watch others though. Oldie, yes, but still holds a special place in the heart...
November 11, 200519 yr Another fantastic frantic track is International Kansas City Playboys "Everybody's Goin' Wild": Or Big Maybelles Quittin time. Reminds of the old days at Ace Club in Gothenburg. It had to be this fast. That Belgian collection with Int City Playboys, King Coleman - Hang it up , New youk city baby was the hottest CD to have . Great days those back in the 90´s...... ^_^
November 11, 200519 yr Alex Patten - No more dreams is maybe a bit tricky to dance to or ?? Only heard it when I´ve played it myself so not much chance to try it on the floor
November 12, 200519 yr Whata bunch of wimps! The Orlons, Towanda Barnes, Vel-Vets.... Too fast???!!! When you'd popped a dozen Dexies, these tunes were mid-tempo floaters!
Kick it off with 'You dont mean it' Towanda Barnes.
Can listen to this over and over but could never do it justice on a dancefloor.
