Premium Stuff
sure its not the New holidays on soulhawk.same backing track as Stanley Mitchell Quit twistin my arm. ricky. Hi I know the W Harvey and W Jones tracks - definitely not those. Hi Ricky what's the track name please. It's the New Holidays "My Baby Ain't No Plaything" on Westbound #157. This song isn't on Soulhawk. The Soulhawk #1008 release by the New Holidays has "If I Only Knew" on it. Both the Soulhawk and Westbound releases have "Maybe So, Maybe No" on them. Mick Holdsworth
The New Holidays is indeed a great version, but it couldn't be mistaken for a female, so is there another (female) version knocking about ?? I've never heard of one. Cheers Mick Link to comment Social source share
Agrail
Chris King used to play a carver of the Willie Harvey version. He must have dubbed it from tape, it doesn't sound like it was taken from any pressing - I've got it on eBay now: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/196119246446 Link to comment Social source share
