Seen a few copy's on Evilbay at the moment that seem to be $200-300 and over, These copy's are buy it now. seen a few others in auction go for over £150. Thought this was only a £30-90 record. Heard different opinions on it and more people lean to the side of "either being over played or dislike it. Thoughts?

If you're looking at buying a copy Ben I wouldn't bother, there was a thread on it not long ago and it's a bit of a marmite record although saying that I think the majority of people on here didn't like it, I don't mind it. As Stacey's Dad has said, it's overplayed and you're right they are going for silly money at the mo.

Yeah i agree with you both. Mtay, i already have a copy of it but never really play it out due to that reason. Just had a look and couldn't believe the price of what some people were selling it at! 

It was alright in your youth but as an adult record.... well, i mean

The people paying £150 for it are probably the same people who paid £150 for the likes of The Futures, Ace Spectrum and Brown Sugar

Sell it before it's back to a £30 record! 

Its yoof not old soulies who are buying it and they are not all English either.

Only because silly people are buying its  a crap record imo

As I said earlier, I don't mind it and I've only ever seen it fill a dance floor. I can see why people don't like it and I wouldn't pay good money for it, hence why I don't have one!

Here we go again. There's loads of records like this that have gone up in price. If you don't like it, don't buy it. If it wasn't popular it would still be a £10 record.

Nige Brown was the first person I heard play it out.  Then the penny dropped as to why I'd sold 2 copies for a fiver the same month whereas I'd sold none before as it was a two bob soul pack record which nobody wanted
