April 16, 201510 yr I have just uploaded this to my kindle, will read later today. One city in America I have always wanted to visit is Detroit, love the music that came out of there in 1960's.
April 16, 201510 yr Fantastic read, lots of interesting stuff not only about the music but the people, the city and the politics of that time ... this is a book that I will pick up many times in my life, look forward also to Memphis 68. Keep up the great work Stuart, I had to giggle at the thought of James Jamerson with a Scottish accent .... Would be nice to find out who the young soldier is on the front of the cover and what happened to him ....
