There is an original 7" from 91 as well.

if I remember correctly it was issued a few times before it became a pop hit, although it was big in dance clubs well before that. best original song they ever did, (there cover of someday was the best) hard to imagine now everyone got so pissed of with hearing heather's  voice by the end of the 9ts.

I think I need the original 7" version which was 1971 on Deconstruction 44855, or is there another-as you've said as well?

I have the 1991 12" (Deconstruction PT44856) featuring the "Classic Mix" and "Club Mix". Don't know if the Classic Mix is the same as the 45 though. Happy to record it for you if required.

Interesting thread, sorry to head off the main point of the single, just thought some people might like to see the video with Keb, and I presume Sue, in short clips within the overall video:

 

 

Released on the Deconstruction label 14/10/91 on 7inch single.The video was played I think on mtv at the time.This was their debut record. Hope this helps      Regards Fred

Fantastic record. I think she got a bit into oversinging later on and I think this is much more raw.
