always hearing great new stuff.

 

the new releases recently have been very strong particularly the Larry and the illustrators.  The ballad side is immense.

Caught up with this show now and well that was interesting.  He has really captured the 60s soul sound very well.  And the lyrics are strong.

It was a great show as usual this week. Brian pulled out some mp3 only tunes in addition to the top rate album only records. The quality of some of the recent stuff was superb, particularly the southern soul style tracks, most of which were new to me. A very worthwhile listen and a testament to the fact that artists are still making music that has a throw back to much earlier times.

Always appreciate of the heads up each week.
