did this record get released as a demo on vinyl

i know it got booted on vinyl  but my copy looks ok

but I’m not sure, any info would be appreciated

Yes Neal, There are original demo's in vinyl. All the standard issues I've seen have all been styrene. I seem to remember this coming up before on the site, so perhaps try to check past topics.

JM auctioned one a while back went for quite a bit of money.

The same could be said for loads of classic oldies.

 

I don't think some these auctions would get of the ground with certain records if it wasn't for the pulling power of Facebook, with some of the buyers on fb not having a clue about what is the going rate for the top sounds. 

Real one - or bloody hope so, paid a massive £10 back in 79 - at the time I was earning £60 a week on the railway. Brought it off a guy called Kippross from Huntingdon at the time ( now moved to Nottingham) he's still selling records saw him at Coalville nighter last year - Great old soul pal

In the 1970’s the white label vinyl demo was the one on all the sales lists.        At that time the issue was very rare!

Since the late 1990’s there have been lots of original styrene black issues for sale.  There now seems to be more black issues about than demos,

Someone must have found a box full of them?
