Always loved Allen Tousaint since purchasing the Bell's Cellar of Soul series in the sixties,lets hope there's loads of unreleased gems we might get to hear.

This one made me take notice in the sixties

 

Surely any commercial use of these tapes must be dependent on who owns the rights to the contents.

Good job they weren't found in the UK or Europe then or there would be "bootleg" fever (Genuine Releases are available)

Surely the rights owner would also have owned the tapes ?? If that were the case.. then the new owner can do as they please ??

Seems likely.  Her biog mentions her being acquainted with Aaron Neville, Allen Toussaint, and Pete Fountain...  Now I'm wondering if I'm thinking of the right Pete Fountain...
