It had the odd play in 80's Mel,never enough though, great record.

I woudn't call it R&B, great midtempo soul to me!

The old argument of interpretations again Jocko. I just put it on the deck & had a listen, & i would still err on the side of slowish R&B. Still a nice tune whatever we call it, other side isn't bad either :rolleyes: Now i would call that mid tempo :lol:

Not saying i'm right :thumbsup: but mid-tempo to me is sweet sounding tunes from any era like 'Gospel Classics -'More Love', Delfonics - 'You'll Get Enough', Lou Ragland - 'I Travel Alone', Bobby Sheen - 'Something New To Do' or JJ Barnes - 'Please Let Me In'.

As i said, i'm probably wrong. Wonder what other's interpretation of mid tempo is ?
