The below was on J.M's auction for one day and then disappeared it seems ?

Ethics - Lost In A Lonely World / Now Is The Time - Vent 1009

The fabled "lost" Ethics 45, so hideously rare it remains totally undocumented and we can assure all, that this 45 is the only copy we have ever seen.

Anyone ?

I've just been comparing the scan with one of the group's "Look at me now" on Vent. It's interesting when you overlay one on top of the other in Photoshop - the inconsistencies become more obvious.

I always wanted to know who did them, thanks for that

Unless done from the original masters with original labels and typesetting there will always be a difference somewhere, its just spotting that difference.

I don’t think Pete had them pressed.  They were done by the owner or a US dealer who got the plates from the owner.

Having read all comments in this topic , had most of The Ethics releases at some time over the last 48 hrs ,and still have a few and the CD album , if the track had been released at the time as the others where ,would it be worth any thing at all , it's nowhere near as good as most of the others , ok now with "Low rider " being a relatively new collective style of the soul genre ,if a 1k or so copies where in circulation a £15 tune , is it just the fact it's rarity value and not a great tune , would make it a collectable item if any at all had been released ?  , was there even an acetate , just contemplating ,,

This it not a dig at Low rider by the way I do have a vast and varied collection and most only have to flipped .
