That four tracks is a good record but there were dozens for a fiver in the late 70s....inflation gone mad.

There were dozens of nearly everything years ago .

That's forty year ago.  Most records were a fiver in the 70s, you could get virtually owt you wanted for less than a ton in the mid 80s.  You cannot compared then to now.  we see daft prices for records that were a fiver ten years ago.  You have more demand now, different senes for both sides. 

Mathew Barnett I thought cheap, some of the others more or less what they have been selling at set sale give or take.

The reason the Mathew Barnett was cheap is that a quantity of copies have turned up in mint condition.

I dont know who has them Andy,but several dealers have had them over the last six months. I think Adey Pierce has one at the moment for £300.

I have just looked on his website and he still has it £300 m- condition.

You could ask him,he has had it for a while.I know Pat Brady had one last year in the same condition but i cant remember how much it was.

Jay D. Martin was the surprise of the night fetching more than double the going rate. Several records were flops and would’ve made more on eBay.

Crazy price for Jay D. Martin, but didn't JM get even more for it last time he auctioned it? Might be wrong, but think it went for over £1300.

Sparkels wasn't in great condition, so an m- copy would have probably gone for near double that, as it has previously.
