Just wondering, for me it's the 1964..Neverending Impressions with such nice sounds...Ten To One- Sister Love- I'm So Proud- Little Boy Blue- A Woman Who Loves Me...and other nice tunes,  any Impressions fans?

So many great albums!

For me it has to be "Young mods forgotten story" Great tracks and an iconic album cover!

Absolutely all of them right up to Fan The Fire for me.  Quality all the way through.

My favourite group ever, too many top tunes to mention.

If I had to choose, after much agonising : “This is my country”

What a group. Just looking at the various line ups is a star studded soul palace. Curtis, absolute genius, Jerry Butler, Leroy Hutson etc. Of course it would be extremely remiss to not mention the groups original members Sam Gooden, and Richard and Arthur Brooks.

As has been said too many to single out any particular one. Their contribution to the Black American Rights movement cannot be ignored, nor can their roots, which they kept dear to, in Gospel music. From Tennessee to Chicago, it's proper soul music all the way.

NB - I seem to recall starting a Curtis Mayfield thread not too long ago, he has (notwithstanding his sad passing) an amazing following on here and most other soul related places.
