mine doesn't seem to be working at the moment

I was wondering if this is the version I first heard at Kirkham Conservative Club back in 1975.

Anyone got a sound clip of this track.

Must admit I like both, the Jon could be the version I first heard, nice a simple UK Northern Soul a bit faster than I remember.

75-100 for issue on uk phillips...demos slighty harder to get...

Bit of an understatement there Mark - the Philips demo is one of the hardest of all UK 45's. I've never had one, I've seen one in the flesh. It was always known as one of the rare UK pieces, even back in the late 70's. And you can't pick an issue up for 75 nowadays.

anything i say is relevant

Pete's right.

Jon Ford has always been a desirable and pretty scarce British piece.

I tried tracking it down for years during the mid 70's... and then Junked a mint copy in 79 for 50p on the Whicker in Sheffield.

The one on Manships is a relative bargain at a ton!
