Very popular record in its day '75? played at Mecca and Wigan, But we all thought it could have been an Abba cover up
March 10, 200817 yr Author All I meant was when I played it yesterday I just thought it sounded a bit more discoey than when I remembered it from years ago, when it was, as you all say, a monster.

March 11, 200817 yr So you were buying modern soul back in the day then Pete Never thought of it back then mate, this was a driving uptempo dancer, I bought loads of records of that ilk back then - creative source, johnny williams, east coast connection etc. Love 'em.
March 11, 200817 yr In the same handful of 45's was The Mighty Clouds Of Joy - Time - ABC Dunhill, is this known or played? It bloody should be - what a belting 70's dancer. Brilliant record, but I've seen it empty a full floor on more than one occasion over a 30 year period (and not just when I've played it, either). It might just be one of those records that will never have its 'time'....
