  1. Always rated "what's a matter baby" as her best track and that one's cheap as chips. The Darrell Banks on London would be the one to have
  2. Ree Flores - Look into my heart, the machine gun intro, the singing, the words, "damage has been done" complete package. Arin Demain - Silent Treatment. again fantastic intro and the way the tempo changes Lee Rogers - How are you fixed for love complete package.

Bought some Dr Martins thought they were boots and they turned out to be shoes
  4. I was sold this as original in the 80s , it's not , from dealer think you are talking about.
  5. That's fine,if like promoters, they usually put something back, These people are just oppurtunists, conning the latest bandwagon. Nothing more than leeches and maggots.
  6. She must have "mastered the art "and is now "cashing in", looks like shes onto a nice little earner, got to be better than working for a living. How the hell has it come to this! it's all an absolute embarrasment, a unique individual scene hijacked by a bunch of cnuts. There is no soul in Northern Soul anymore!
  7. The Who - My Generation Lee Rogers - How are you fixed for love
  8. Do you think Oxfam will be full of clown suits in a couple of years? or will people in Africa be walking around looking like the Wombles!
  9. We're gonna be millionaires Rodney
  10. The 10 semi knowns could be the big sounds of the future, certainly true of many "soul pack" records of the 80s.

So it can't be both? sounds like RnB to me, how ludicrous? Think in America they would call it RnB, or did Soultown in LA frequent Wigan Casino and know all about the Northern scene,

Thought all 'black music' was termed R&B in the 60's , hence R&B charts. These people wearing t-shirts , need to grow up and take a look at themselves! get your facts right. It's on par with racist skinheads liking reggae! 'Dust my broom' has been played at nearly every allnighter i ever attended.

Soulville Allstars - I'm gonna get to you Van Dykes - Save our love for a rainy day Lou Pride - I'm comin home in the morning
  18. Don't mind re-issues, when the label is different, these can become collectable on there own, i.e. Grapevine ,Action, Kent, Horaces etc. It's the repos that bug me, don't understand, why do it? Is it not to decieve the buyer? Re-issues are fine, but make it a different label, so that people know it is.
  19. Don.t get out as well, like you say,all work and no play, plus the cost of travel. Still collecting vinyl, it's an addiction. Good to hear from you mate, cheers, Paul
