Playlists, Or The Lack Of Them
I agree with what you say and some of the 'big' names are as guilty as anyone of this. Yes it can be a bit annoying (for some) when someone else plays a tune you've been playing but it's not about us is it, never has been, never will be.

Playlists, Or The Lack Of Them
I love reading playlists, always have. Just think if the internet had been around years ago like it is today what a fantastic resource you would have of what was played where and when. As for people playing stuff they read in playlists? So what? People have always done that and always will. One thing playlists don't do is give you a true feel of a night, they give you an idea of what you might hear but not the experience. I have heard some sets that on paper you would think pretty average but that really worked on the night. There is no substitute for experience.

Wow I am so out of touch! I would have said £20 - £25. Just shows you. I did comment ages ago about him putting not rare records up for auction (Skip Jackson I think the record was). His reply was when a record is in demand he puts it on auction to give everyone a chance at getting it. I wouldn't rate this is as in demand though.- Poets Wrapped Around Your Finger - J2
Yep, great info! I love hearing when people first heard records, all part of it for me. I'm on it Nev, see you in a bit - Wendell Watts "kiss A Good Thing Goodbye (Reforee)
