Megocharge - Ebay Operator?
Does anyone know the buyer "megocharge " on ebay. This person bought something from me on 25/09 (6 bids) without paying, or answeringany of my many messages. This was not an expensive item, what's annoying is that they have had more recent feedback as a fast payer. If someone has got the guts to appolgise or ask for time, I'm OK with that. Anyone else had problems with this customer?

There was also an album released off the back of the US Hanna Barbera Saturday morning Harlem Globetrotters,TV seriesfrom 1971.This was the first cartoon show to feature an entirely Afro - American cast of characters. The series was produced by US entertainment empresario Don Kirshner who produced and released the album, which despite songs penned by J R Bailey and Rudy Clark, has no savings graces IMO , consisting of total bubblegum pop. Album and 45 released in the UK on RCA. Houseparty by Bailey and Clark:- Help - Walk On By

I would say £50 for the original and half that for the re-issue. Value seems to have fallen off over recent times, a bit of a tricky dancer for middle aged soulies, methinks. Quote from Tony Drake's website: "The Chi-Lites introduced Living In The Footsteps Of Another Man in 1972 on their gold album; A Lonely Man featuring their number one hit Oh Girl. In 1988 Footsteps showed up on The Pasadenas, To Whom It May Concern. Their debut album soared past platinum in England including the debut chart topper tribute; Right On. Living In The Footsteps of Another Man is a classic that has been recorded by Reggaes Dennis Brown, Delroy Wilson, Alton Ellis and Gregory Isaacs. Disco version by Maryann Farra and Satin Soul; Living In The Footsteps of Another Girl has a unique sound. The song has now been released in Italian on the new CD, Cora by La Pina E Soul Kingdom. Living In The Footsteps of Another Man has been recorded many times but not until NOW by the MAN WHO LIVED THE SONG, The MAN WHO WROTE THE SONG; Tony Drake!! On his soon to be released CD, The Tony Drake Collection" https://www.songsbytonydrake.com/footsteps.html In my opinion a rather crappy 80's UK version exists by The Pasadenas,here:- U.s. Thanks for sharing this great thread!- Marvin Gaye - This Love Starved Heart Of Mine
From recollection wasn't the picture sleeve 45 cut as a limited Edition as a free bee at some US Motown promotional event back in the early 1990's? There was a story doing the rounds that many of them were just discarded by the attendees at the time, as the folks weren't interested in the vinyl. Or was this just urban myth?- Soul Supply Bootleg Lp's
FYI I was recently the subject of a rather objectionable e mail, threatening me with legal action for just linking "Bootlegs and Re-issues" together in the title of an on line photo collection, of 45 record scans. It made me realise how dangerous it can be referring to a series of records as "bootlegs" without any material evidence.- Current Price - Emotions - I Love You But.. On Twin Stacks
Picked a vg copy up earlier this year for $10 - didn't realise it was so collectable. It was amongst an auction of top northern tunes where all the bidding was concentrated. correct, Gary Knight:. I think that he co wrote a number of Mitch Ryder hits with Bob Guadio, including "you get your kicks" and "breakout" Same fellow as in Dey (Tracey) and Knight(Gary)signed to Columbia. I think that he also wrote with Bob Crewe: There's another tune by them that I can't remember at the mo. Ahh here it is: "Sayin' Something'" / "Ooh Da La Da Lay" (1966) Columbia #43693 Also see here: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Tracy-Dey-and-Gary-Knight-1965-Ad-Im-Gonna-Love-You-Tomorrow-Young-Love-/200913408984?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item2ec75f53d8- Paul Thompson "special Kind Of Woman" Volt

Bidded on that Jackie Trent myself, though I didn;t know that it had any value at all.Just liked the tune.- Bobby 'Blue' Bland Rest In Peace
Sad news indeed. Call on Me remains a favourite club tune from when I first heard it at the Golden Torch in 1969. It became and remains myself and Tina's tune today and always brings a smile to our faces. Listen:- The Best Of Unreleased Tamla Motown N.soul?
Been searchin the U - Tube for ages for this one. Overlooked by many on the Spellbound - Lost and Found series,I think its a stunning piece, think "Ordinary Joe" style rhythm: MARTHA & THE VANDELLAS talking about love :- Value? Kiki Dee - Magic Carpet Ride
Not familiar with "I", is it any good? I am familiar with this version of Jerry Butler's I Dig You Baby, from the first self titled LP, also re-issued on "Patterns". I think its a super little tune:- The Best Of Unreleased Tamla Motown N.soul?

Don't agree, in my experience totally the opposite. Sorry.- Most Accurate Vinyl Graders Us Or Uk Sellers?
Received two records from the States today, graded as VG that should have been graded knackered! My experience is that UK sellers are much more up front and conservative in their grading. A lot of amateur ebayers know bugger all about quality and just see $$$$$$ when it comes to Soul. Records graded Good ish, are virtually worthless to sell on so I find many go for the soft option and grade VG or above . After all with postal prices now being what they are, it's easier to take it on the chin, if you bid and your bargain turns out a dud.in. If you've got the dosh, buy from Anglo, Moerer or Manship go for quality if you can. Sorry just my experience, buying on a limited budget. Interesting thread though. - Globetrotters 'cheer Me Up'
