  1. I've got one but I don't remember it being either orange or green... was there any white demos?
  2. If you want to go through the effort of going to small claims, then you've got a pretty good case and they would end up paying costs. But you've got to wonder if its worth the hassle, and just end up taking it on the chin and putting it down to experience. I suppose the real question is was there intent to fleece you for the price of the tickets, or did things just snowball for an inexperienced "promoter"?

How about "Run Nigger Run" by the Checkmates Ltd?
  4. PM yes - composing a reply... Should have come out on Red/Yellow (early number) - was (re)issued in 72 on the black/green..... And there's one here: https://www1.gemm.com/item/MAXEY--JOE--S./S...B/GML607946056/ Bit pricey I.M.O.
  5. Presumably on the Black/Green label. After a Red and Yellow, but never seen one, and don't know anyone who has.

Not sure if this has been posted yet... a right load of old bilge, be warned.

    No, not really.
  8. Is that the one with the same backing as Cool It Baby?
  9. Came out on UK red Atlantic as well...
  10. Sounds like something that belongs in the Khazi to me.... hung on a hook ala Steptoe and Son.
  11. A pick and a shovel are mighty handy for digging.
  12. Bloody hell, I'd worry if i went round to someones house and they had that fist in the toilet - looks like a prop form a "specialist" German film
  13. Must have a Doppelganger. Who would have thought that there would be two men as handsome as me in Sheffield?
  14. Must be mixing me up with someone else Martin, don't you know I'm a One-Trick Rock & Roll Pony?
  15. Bloody Hell, I try and keep out of an argument and keep getting drawn in... Brad Pitts six pack may be a hit with the Girls, but my Party Seven is a hit with the Women. Boom Boom.
  16. Yup, It came out on UK RCA as well...
  17. First played to my knowledge, by Alan Millington in 1994 (ish). He was also the person who tipped me about "Lady Day and John Coltrane" Gil Scott-Heron around the same time.
  18. My Anna King would look smart in that...
  19. Dean Courtney is a 70s reissue - a tenner tops.
  20. Custom pressed by Lyntone - the folks who used to do flexi-discs for on the front of magazines... hence the lyn prefix in the runout.
  21. Easy - "Ton Of Dynamite"
  22. I thought that Motown were still having these pressed during the 80s and 90s - purely for jukebox owners - like the 'collectables' label.
  23. Only of value to a Grapevine completist... now if they had tracks that never made 45 they would be much more interesting.
  24. I include p&p / paypal fees in the price of anything I sell on here - there's no argument then.
  25. Great record... I'll play it at the next Redhouse.
