Refosoul - Search Facility
Cheers Ken I tend to stay clear of 'media player' upgrades after I clicked yes to a real player one, that managed to screw everything up, and took a lot of googling (and swearing) to resolve, including extended e-mailing those nice people at real player in the USA who always denied it was their upgrade, despite me proving that if I removed the ****** thing everything worked fine. Infact I steer clear of most upgrades, as I believe if it aint broke dont fix it, which is probably why I do not get many problems with my PC Martyn

Refosoul - Search Facility
Does Refosoul only work on Mac's? Its just if someone posts an mp3 no problem, I can hear it, but the refosoul stuff can never get a thing out of it. Martyn

Ohio Player
It was the first version that I bought back in the mid seventies, as the Towanda Barnes one was the popular and harder to find one at the time, I prefer the Ohio Players version and have played it out a few times. Their version of 'Love Slipped Through My Fingers' is nice, but the quality of the recording is not too good. Play it without fear Martyn

Ohio Player
That would be their version of 'Love Slipped Through My Fingers' LP only, never issued on a single. 'You dont mean it' on Compass is legit, fairly sure that they played the backing to Towanda Barnes version on A&M Martyn

Japanese Human Beinz. Ace Pic Cover
Steve I am the worst at remembering lyrics, however this is the last record that I would have thought needed them writing down, I mean no no no no no n no no.....repeat .... nobody can do the (add 50's dance syle) .... repeat .... back to no no no no n no no. Realistically how long did it take to pen that, it was probably more of a case that they had come up with the tune during a practice session, the vocalist then just put the words or no no no on to see what a voice would add, then left it at that. But having said that nice sleeve Martyn

Newbie! Hello - Valuations?
Cal it made me smile. Think they fetch around £30, you may get more if you can find a deaf Motown collector. It is fair to say that I do not like the record, I have a demo myself and I am still trying to find somebody I hate enough to give it to. Martyn

Not So Rare But Can I Find One?
Have you been to your GP ? Martyn PS. Always been the same Al, once they start fetching big money it starts to flush them out. Had similar problems in the past, being told its only a £20 record, and struggling to find one.

Proxy Bidding On John Manship's Auctions
Joe I am sure that the increments are constant, and set at the start of each individual records auction. The variable is each bidders maximum bid. Confusing as I said earlier as it is a pure fluke if the finishing price can be divided by the increment. As soon as a bidder puts a maximum bid, that beats a previous maximum bid, it will jump to that then add the increment. Have you tried working out the increments on Ebay Martyn

Proxy Bidding On John Manship's Auctions
Assuming in your example we are still looking at £9 steps C - Bids £75 max auction price will show as £9 as there are no other bids B - Bids £100 max bid will go to 'C's £75 + £9 = £84 and is winning the item until a bid over £100 is placed A - Bids £150 max bid will go to 'B's £100 + £9 = £109 and is now winning until a bid over £150 The increments are confusing as the auction always goes to the highest maximum then adds the increment, whatever it is for each item. I am pretty good at maths, and must admit it confused me as to why every auction was not a perfect division of the value of the increment, until it was explained to me. Martyn

Proxy Bidding On John Manship's Auctions
The original bidder would have put a maximum bid of £70, as it was the first it showed the lowest possible amount £9. A bid of £100 by bidder 2 would take the amount to £78. Martyn
