  2. I'm sure it is. German issue is on Avco Embassy and from what I remember there's at least another Euro issue on that label as well.
  3. so what if he did? isn't it his decision what to auction?
  4. "rip-off" didn't quite express what I tried to say, I'M sorry for that. Quite often I struggle to find the right words in english. "taking the piss" is more appropriate. The set sale copy is desribed as " superb clean copy", to me that's a NM grade. So why is a NM copy set sale and a M copy worth auctioning?
  5. two fu**ed up spinal discs. enough reason not to dance. still enjoying the music tho.
  6. All EX condition Z.Z. HILL - YOU JUST CHEAT AND LIE - KENT £15 West coast 6T's winner JOE TEX - DON'T PLAY - CHECKER £15 1963 R&B stomper of the highest order, west coast Monarch issue THE KING-PINS - A LUCKY GUY - VEE JAY £50 Great early soul. Same backing as Johnny Apalachian "up in smoke". Much rarer issue. ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ worldwide P&P from Germany: 1-3 records: standard £3.10/signed for £5.00 Paypal preferred, as gift if possible. audio clips available on request.
  7. To be honest, I'd rather give a fiver to the homeless guy on the streets than attend a charity do as the one you describe.
  8. but are guys saying that Russ is completely wrong? I read his post the way that he thinks there's an increasing number of sub-standard do's with sub-standard dj's promoted under the charity banner.
  9. Who got the copy on Ebay a few years ago?
  10. so not a Northern Soul app, but a Goldsoul app to fill your pockets? brillant idea.
  11. Updated. Sound file for Brass Monkey available on request. Or on Manship's page.
  12. you're sure it's a company sleeve? might be just a generic art sleeve.

  18. prices a bit adjusted. bargains galore (seriously, have seen ed summers yesterday @60 quid ...)
  19. sure, but no member names in the other threads. i think it's time for name and shame them
  20. Timi Yuro It'll never be over for me in spanish (unissued). Not really relevant to Northern Soul, but dutch group Tielman Brothers covered Bobby Goldsboro in german and entitled it "zu spät" (AKA "too late").
