  1. Sorry Pete. I am mates with Scotty (Big Scotty) from Stockport. All the best. Steve
  2. Which Scotty?
  3. That is so bizarre Paul. Today I received in the post from USA The Furys I,m Satisfied with you on a Keyman White Demo. ( Sorry If I am talking double dutch ). This record is fairly difficult to find nowadays on the USA label. However it should be far easier on the UK release label Jayboy. Which ever way ALL the tunes mentioned are top drawer oldies from the 70,s when they first got played on the scene. Good luck with your searches.
  4. Hi mate just a thought are you sure it is Justify/Justified? Could it be Satisfied Ben Aitken possibly? Check out you tube maybe? Good luck
  5. Going round in my head. I think it was c/u as "Like a good girl should". I am fairly certain it contained the lyrics "Nobody ever said it was gonna be easy". I think it was a Gary Rushbrooke tune. Thanks folks. Steve

Or try Popsike for values as a guide. Personally I would contact Pete Smith.
  7. Personally if John Manship says something he is 99.9% of times correct. Not looking for a fight I just think he is about the most knowledgeable Soul Man I know. Just my view
  8. Top one is mine. Had it since 77 or so! Memory plays odd tricks. I remember the boot coming out at the same time, bought it from John Manship so I was right to trust him I guess. Bloody £700 odd for a boot defies belief.
  9. Jackie Wilson and Betty Wright at Wigan. Teddy Pendergrass at Manchester Apollo. ( Fantastic). Maze 3 times at Manchester Apollo (Talk about soulful) and then full filled a lifetime wish Stevie Wonder at MEN Manchester just after he did Glastonbury. 10 rows from him. Awesome!
  10. I can remember Richard Searling playing it at WC around 78. BUT I am fairly sure he was playing it at a Friday Oldies Nighter. So I guess it was around prior to 78. Other than that with the Del Larks I don't know who first played it? Anyone?
  11. Wigan June/July 74. Waiting outside for 2am start in those days someone played Baby hit and run Contours on a portable. I knew that... inside Ila Van Cant help loving that man. Really stuck in my mind.
  12. Hi guys hope someone can help please? I am looking for 1 ticket for Utd v Liverpool on Jan 15th please. Needed for a friend visiting from Germany. I had 2 tickets but have just been told I can only have 1 now. So hopefully some kind soul may be able to help. Thank You Steve
  13. I am fairly certain that John Manship told me he actually sold it to Ian Levine at a Ritz all dayer. So that was it first JM, then IL then RS in that order but only the same copy. Hope that makes sense? Hi Julian alright mate?
  14. I think Ian Levine first played Don Gardner, but not huge for him. According to Richard Searling a few years back he got it off Levine along with 2 or 3 other massive things and RS played it out at WC, maybe around 79 onwards. Not totally certain but that my best guess Pottsy! Hope you are well? Regards Steve
  15. Very good my sort of playlist
  16. Top quality set that. Nice!!!
  17. Add my thoughts to that. Good luck Ted never met you but like your records and politics. Shame about Villa. Steve Foran
  18. Am I allowed to bump please?
  19. Can anyone help me with a copy of Bull Bygones please?
  20. I will play it for you at the Rat Pit in November Paul
