  1. R.I.P. John ................ another fabulous voice from our soulful past has passed.
  2. Pretty sure issues are a little harder than demos
  3. Mamie Lee on MGM wanted, please PM if any to offer.
  4. 1969 Kids Gola football boots
  5. Late 77 or 1978...... another of JV's really fantastic soul rarities !?!?! ............ along with The Fuzzy Bunnies and ' I'll give you time' The Outsiders
  6. Normally a term that means the soul night is not really going to be for the rare soul collector or discerning alternative soul individual, expect to hear ' the snake ' or Frank Boring
  7. Is he a FIEND or a friend ? 😂😁🤪
  8. Will post up some PROPER SOUL 45s after the weekend for your contemplation and consideration.
  9. After many weeks, why are people even commenting on this, what a sad waste of time. Can we have some proper interesting articles on here please, record reviews, playlists, venue reports, DJ profiles, record collecting finds, etc, not continual debate over a quite insignificant chart record that surely has no place being talked about in the first place !?! Get a life you saddos !!
  10. Actually think Band of Gold was played as a new release on the UK Soul Scene, poss Twisted Wheel 1970 ?
  11. The lunatics have definitely taken over the asylum.
  12. Frankie and the Classicals (Calla) original 45 with the slower spoken intro wanted to replace old warped copy, any out there for sale ? Not really looking to splash out on a near minter for £100 plus. Please PM if you have one to offer. Thanks, Jez.
  13. A very merry Christmas and hopefully a great and rewarding New Year to all Soul fans worldwide !
  14. Hi Angus, hope you're all ok. Greg Perry, Larry Wedgeworth, and Caviar are all 80's records !!
  15. I always liked ' Black Power ' - at least it was a PROPER 60'S BLACK TUNE that was spun in the late 70's during a deluge of obscure poppy 60's UK dirge !
